Crich Parish Council represent the interests of parishioners in Crich, Fritchley and Whatstandwell. They provide a range of local services and operate in close liaison with Amber Valley Borough Council and Derbyshire County Council.
Meetings of the Parish Council are held every ‘first Monday’ of the month except August at the ‘Glebe Community Centre’, Crich. The Annual Parish Meeting and the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council are held on the ‘first Monday’ of May.

Annual 11.5km (approx) road/trail race organised on the same day as Crich Village Fete in July. A challenging race, largely off-road and with significant elevation gains, giving great views of the local countryside! Open to individuals and club runners.

The society is concerned with discovering all aspects of local and Derbyshire heritage. We meet at the Glebe Community Centre in Crich on the last Thursday of each month (excluding December) at 7.30pm. Talks cover a wide range of subjects from very local matters, to the history of cheese making in Derbyshire and ballooning over the area. Annual membership is £15 or visitors pay £3 per meeting.

A group of people who enjoy gardening and allotments. We meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm at the Comrades Club in Crich. The meetings are a mixture of speakers, social discussions and garden visits. There is an annual membership fee of £5 and you have to be a member of the Comrades Club (currently about £7 per annum).
