Chesterfield, North East Derbyshire and Erewash will enter the ‘High’ covid local alert level after a surge in coronavirus cases
Crich Tramway Village is to open for an extra hour (until 6.30pm) from October 28th to 30th to provide an opportunity to see and ride on the trams in darkness during the half-term week. The venue is also opening over the weekend of 6th - 7th November.
The weekend of 10th-11th October saw the culmination several months of artistic activity with the Crich Area Community Art Sharing exhibition at the Glebe Field Centre. This was the first event of its kind, borne from the recognition that many people engaged their creative talents as one way to occupy their time during the Covid-19 restrictions.
Following the success of our summer programme of activities which saw almost 90 children attending play, sport, art and nature sessions we are pleased to be able to offer another programme for the autumn half term holiday.
On Saturday 10th October (12 - 5pm) and Sunday 11th October (10.30 - 5.00) there will be the first ever Community Art Sharing at the Glebe Field Centre.
Community Day on Sunday 11th October 2020. FREE admission to anyone living within 5 miles of Crich.
We are sorry to tell you that we have given up hope of any further Crich Heritage Meetings this year.
