Autumn Footprints 2020 - Walks in Amber Valley and Erewash in Derbyshire

Unfortunately organisers of the Autumn Footprints Walking Festival have confirmed that the usual event will not take place this year, however, they have collected some of the previously produced walk leaflets and posted them on line for the public to enjoy.

Walking is great for both mental and physical health - so why not see what is on your doorstep.

Log onto www.autumnfootprints.co.uk to download the leaflets from their homepage. For more walks around Crich see the Walks section of the Crich Standard website.

The festival is jointly organised by Erewash Borough Council; Amber Valley Borough Council; Derbyshire County Council, several parish councils, community groups and Groundwork.

This year the flu vaccine is being offered on the NHS to

Adults 65 and over   (You’re eligible for the flu vaccine this year (2020 to 2021) if you’ll be aged 65 or over on 31 March 2021. That is, you were born on or before 31 March 1956)

People with certain medical conditions (including children in at-risk groups from 6 months of age)

Pregnant women

Please note that people in the 50-64-year old age group will not be vaccinated until November and December, providing there is sufficient vaccine, and no appointments will be offered for this age group until then. New Medical Order Line for Repeat Prescriptions

by Linda Philo

Crich Medical Practice

From Wednesday 30th September patients will be asked to order their repeat Medication via the Medicines Order Line (01246 588 860) The order line offers a dedicated person who will have time to answer any medication queries this will free up the practice telephone line for more urgent phone calls.

Please allow additional time for the pharmacy to get your prescription ready for you. If you have an existing arrangement with your pharmacy to deliver your prescription please speak with them to ensure this will continue.
