Crich Area Digital Friends receive national and local funding
The Crich Area Digital Friends Group a splinter group of the Crich Area Covid-19 Mutual Aid Group, have just been awarded a grant of £5,600 from the Coronavirus community Support Fund, distributed by the National Lottery Community Fund, to provide access to, and help and advice on, the use of smartphones and the internet to residents of Crich.
This help is being delivered by volunteers and entirely free to those who require it, especially those who are socially isolated. This money is being supplemented by a grants of £500 from Councillors David Taylor and Trevor Ainsworth and a further £500 from Kirpal and Nisa Community Fund.
